Kagemusha significa algo así como señuelo político.
El protagonista es un don nadie, un ladrón de poca monta.
Tal y como hacen las sombras cambia a conveniencia.
Mucho peso bajo los hombros del Emperador, que debe decidir qué pasará con su reino.
Durante el transcurso de la película sucederán varias batallas históricas, cuyo vestuario se realizó con sumo cuidado.
Detrás de la producción ejecutiva se encontraban ni más ni menos que Francis Ford Coppola y George Lucas. Gracias a ellos Kurosawa pudo sacar adelante esta película.
Banda sonora a cargo del maestro Shinichirô Ikebe.
De obligatorio visionado para los amantes del cine.
