Boris Sagal es copiado por Francis Lawrence, Charlton Heston se convierte en Will Smith y "The Omega Man" (USA 1971) es transmutada en "Soy leyenda" (USA 2007). Ambas caen en los mismos vicios: impresionantes comienzo y media hora inicial sobrecogedora para ir decayendo en ciencia ficción de pésimo convencimiento, peor factibilidad y obvia vulgaridad.
Se trata de una floja película remake de la anterior de 1971 ya citada. Con tan poca renovación u originalidad respecto a su antecesora que no merece dedicarle un mayor número de palabras.
