Adaptación de la segunda novela (A Murder of Quality, 1962) de John Le Carré para televisión, tras la película "Llamada para un muerto". En esta ocasión el agente Smiley no hace de espía sino de detective en un colegio inglés. No es muy fiel al libro y tampoco es fácil de seguir la trama.
Interesante para incodicionales del escritor.
No os esperéis una película de espías. Me recuerda más a Agatha Christie.
