En breve: "El Don apacible" sería al cine soviético lo que fue "Lo que el viento se llevó" al americano de la que podríamos llamar su Primera Edad de Oro (la segunda, lógicamente fue en 1969-78). La diferencia más sustancial es que, en este caso, la novela-río (y nunca mejor dicho) de partida es mejor.
