La película en un principio está muy mal hecha. No tiene nada de parecer real, los actores son pésimos, y el argumento es muy deficiente. De por si, tampoco la versión estadounidense es para alabar ni nada, pero la versión "madre", de Japón es de por si muy mala. Malos actores, mala escenografía, mal todo. Por lo tanto, sólo la salva ser la "madre" de la película Godzilla de EE.UU., por lo tanto, UN 2.
