In a conservative, super-pious Danish town, the widower Morten Borgen -- the father of three boys -- cuts against the grain of the community with his constant heretical doubt. Milagro fílmico que manifiesta una solidez interna inaudita que se transforma en magnetismo puro. No se acierta a distinguir, a primera vista, de donde proviene tanta fuerza. Por partes, todo en ella es ejemplar, el único problema es que es irreproducible. Experiencia cinematográfica obligatoria.
