Film noir. Mystery
Cop Mark Dixon (Dana Andrews) is already in trouble with his superiors for his brutal tactics when he accidentally kills a murder suspect. To protect himself, he decides to cover it up and pin the killing on a racketeer he hates and knows has committed many crimes like this in the past, Scalise.

Desconocía este título de Preminger y me he llevado una sorpresa muy agradable. Mágnificas interpretaciones entre las que destacan mi adorada Gene Tierney y Karl Maden. Argumento muy bien elaborado y con un uso del blanco y negro que es una delicia. Muy buena, para amantes del cine negro
