Interesante película, que nos relata parte de la vida de Van Gogh conocido exponente del Impresionismo. El tipo realmente flotaba entre la razón y la demencia. Trabaja hasta la saciedad, se enemistó con medio mundo y al final, termina como todo artista que no sabe cuidar su fama: pobre y viviendo a expensas de otros. Locaciones bien logradas, y las interpretaciones son bastante adecuadas, especialmente, James Donald, como Theo Van Gogh. Anthony Quinn nos demuestra una vez el notable intérprete que era. Interesante.
