Muy buena película en general, la he disfrutado en todo mometo. No se hace nada pesada ni pierde seriedad como otras películas de este pseudo-género. Muy bien plasmada la desesperación e incompresión de David Kim (John Cho), sin caer en redundancias, giros de guión con credibilidad y un ambiente que te envuelve en la película sintiéndote parte como uno más en esa investigación para encontrar a la jóven hija de los Kim, pero..

La película tiene una linealidad muy definida que no deja nada abierto. Todo bien, hasta que llegamos al final.
Desde el minuto 1 hasta el momento en el que se revela la verdad del pastel, la película va hacia arriba, y finalmente cae estrepitosamente. En primer lugar, la confesión de la detective lo da todo demasiado mascado y digerido, una escena que, para mi, sobra completamente, hay que dejar lugar a que el espectador sea quien reconstruya en su cabeza todo lo que ha ocurrido. Hubiese sacrificado otras partes del film por alargar ésto un poco y encontrar pruebas de cómo lo encubría todo, o simplemente, hubiese eliminado la escena, y a otra cosa. Como sigo, demasido mascado.
Por último, lo que más falla de la peli: el final. Esas ganas de que, forzosamente, todo haya acabado con mariposas de colores aleteando las alas... no. Se puede hacer buen cine sin finales felices, o al menos sin finales de color rosa, vease “Tres anuncios en las afueras”. Si todo hubiese acabado igual pero con la chica fallecida, le hubiese puesto un 8 a este film, ya que sería mucho más realista y fiel a lo que es un caso de desaparición, asesinato(el que se suicida drogado), ocultamiento y desesperación: todo es muy crudo.
Como puntualización me hubiese gustado que ahondase un poco más en cómo las redes pudren la sociedad y el daño que pueden hacer las personas a través de este medio.
Pero, a pesar de estos “fallos”, si tuviese en cuenta los recursos con los que cuenta la película, la nota sería un 10.
