Dura y necesaria película del maestro Lynch basada en la vida de John Merrick que deja al descubierto la crueldad innata del ser humano. El escueto blanco y negro y la triste y bella relación entre Hopkins y Hurt quedarán en la memoria de todo cinéfilo.
