Fallido intento de crear la claustrofóbica y perturbadora atmósfera de Saló. Larraín no hace uso del poder de la imagen (posiblemente porque no sea tan bueno como dicen los jurados internacionales) y se limita a narrar anécdotas sucias (e introducidas con calzador) con las que pretende incomodarnos. Hay exceso de palabra y falta de cine.
