Drama
Mark Renton (Ewan McGregor), an underdog from Edinburgh, and his pals are addicted to heroin. Drugs provide everything that their lives lack but hobble their prospects. Renton will try to get clean, but the influence of his friends and the allure of the drugs are too strong.

Sincera... Toca muy de cerca lo que se mueve en la calle, los problemas de la juventud ante las drogas en aquellos momentos en que la heroina todavía daba mucho que hablar. Gran reparto que a la postre ha convertido a ellos en estrellas del celuloide. Está en mi top 5 de mejores películas ó las que más me marcaron en su época.
