Prometía la serie por la intervención en la misma de Eric Bress, director de "El efecto mariposa". Sin embargo, la aparente interesante trama acaba derivando en la típica historia de la familia prototipo americana que acoge a un tío muy raro, de mirada ausente, pero que termina por poner cara de bobo.
