Ray Ferrier (Tom Cruise) is a divorced dockworker and less-than-perfect father. Soon after his ex-wife (Miranda Otto) and her new husband drop off his teenage son Robbie (Justin Chatwin) and young daughter Rachel (Dakota Fanning) for a rare weekend visit, a strange and powerful lightning storm touches down. Moments later, at an intersection near his house, Ray witnesses an extraordinary event that will change all their lives forever.

Fracaso total y estrepitoso de Spielberg. Mayormente la película se basa en un no parar, de rayos destructores y bichos raros. A pesar de lo pésima que me ha parecido la pelicula, he de romper una lanza a favor de Tomitas Cruise ya que interpreta muy bien un papel que no le pega nada. Y lo mejor llegará cuando tras 2 horas y media de tránsito por un insoportable calvario, descubras uno de los peores y mas absurdos finales de la historia.
