Un hombre entra en un bar y le pide al mozo que le dé una Mirinda, el mozo accederá al pedido sin saber las terribles consecuencias que este simple hecho traerá aparejadas.
“Mirindas asesinas” es un ingenioso y siniestro corto, que marca el excelente debut cinematográfico de Alex de la Iglesia. La cinta fue rodada en blanco y negro y tiene ciertas reminiscencias propias del clásico film noir y algunos elementos de humor negro.
El guión fue escrito por el mismísimo De la Iglesia en colaboración con Jorge Guerricaechevarría y cuenta con las actuaciones de Alex Angulo y Saturnino García.
