In this intriguing science fiction film from director Terry Gilliam, penal colony prisoner James Cole must travel back in time from the year 2035 to find the cause of a virus that killed five billion people in 1997. Cole's trip into the past won't be easy. For starters, he winds up in the wrong year on his first attempt.

Un salto en el cine de ciencia ficción, si bien es cierto se trata de un remake (La jetée, 1962 Francia) logra situarse por delante del metraje Francés, con actuaciones magníficas, principalmente la de Brad Pitt, personalmente la mejor actuación de Pitt que eh visto hasta el momento. Bruce Willis esta soberbio en sus ir y venir de constante transtorno personal. Madeleine Stowe, convincente.
Dirección magistral de Terry Gilliam, quien en mi opinion merecia por lo menos un reconocimiento importante en 1995.
