Cuando una pelicula tiene en su haber 2 oscars (David Niven y Wendy Hiller) y 7 nominaciones no puede ser mala, sino todo lo contrario. Esta obra de Rattigan adaptada con gran eficacia, donde se encuentran en un hotel diferentes personalidades tan distintas, saca a relucir el lado oscuro de las personas con gran naturalidad. Gran reparto y actuaciones sobresalientes.
