Esta película, al igual que Apolo XIII en su momento, tiene el mérito de contar la historia desde la perspectiva del personaje en conflicto con su situación crítica, y lo hace con solvencia y talento.
Clint Eastwood puede que no me sea simpático por sus ideas políticas, pero hay que reconocerle que es un gran director. Tom Hanks también está magnifico, igual como lo estuvo en Apolo XIII. Del guion no hay mucho que decir, está muy bien; hubo una inteligente decisión al poner la parte más interesante donde tocaba.
