Texas, year 1963. Butch Haynes (Kevin Costner) is a hardened prison escapee on the run with a 8 years-old hostage (T.J. Lowther) who sees in Butch the father figure he never had. Texas Ranger Red Garnett (Clint Eastwood) will lead deputies and a criminologist (Laura Dern) on a state wide pursuit. Red knows every road and pothole in the Panhandle. What’s more, he knows the elusive Haynes – because their paths have crossed before.

Nos enternecemos con la figura del niño pobrecito; todos se divierten menos él. Por el otro lado, el lado oscuro: Los fugitivos.
Y por el lado que queda: Eastwood.
Eastwood. Duro. Policía. Sombrero vaquero. Gafas oscuras. Rostro imperturbable.
¿Cómo puede lucir un poquito más el duro policía? Pues con una admiradora en el conjunto, guapa y rendida. Un poco tontita, sin mucho sentido… Pero queda bien.
¿Cómo darle aires crepusculares a la película?
