Una de las mejores del género. Increíble clima terrorífico en algunas secuencias, con una brillante Heather O'Rourke como víctima. A destacar algunos efectos especiales muy logrados, que sobrecogen y provocan algún que otro susto.
Buena idea la de incorporar a la médium en el reparto.
En contra: algunas escenas sobran por ser inverosímiles (véase el árbol).
