Increíble adaptación de Costa-Gavras sobre uno de los conflictos modernos más crueles que sufrió Chile. Un dramático Jack Lemmon, alejadísimo del registro de Billy Wilder (El Apartamento, Con Faldas y a lo Loco, o Primera Plana) guía esta búsqueda trágica, ahogante, de dos familiares, totalmente antepuestos, pero con un amor y un objetivo en común: encontrar al desaparecido.
