Aunque en el título se haga mención al autor de la novela, que casi sigue literalmente, Coppola -es mi opinión- la rodea de un romanticismo superior a la obra epistolar original; y la suaviza permitiendo que el monstruo (Gary Oldman) se libere por amor.
