Scott is a filmmaker in crisis: he’s lacking inspiration, and his relationship with his wife, Penny, isn’t going through its best moment. The couple moves to a house in the desert where they discover that their neighbor is Mr. Jones, a world famous sculptor who is as hermetic as J. D. Salinger.
