Drama History is the chronicle of a working class family for three generations: Like it, born in 1884, illegitimate daughter of a servant, laborer marries Paul and has two children. The First World War, the global economic crisis and World War II marked the locations of the various family members. At the end of the saga, Like it seeks solace in the German Democratic Republic in the post-war.
