Synopsis
Documentary that analyzes the important scientific legacy of the Catalan biochemist Joan Oró on the occasion of the centenary of his birth. Originally from Lleida, and inspired by an innate curiosity, Joan Oró became a world-class scientific figure for his discovery of the synthesis of adenine -one of the fundamental elements of DNA- and for his career at NASA, where he worked on the analysis of lunar samples and the search for life on the planet Mars. Darwin explained how species have evolved from very simple forms to very complex organisms. But how did the first forms of life arise? What is the origin of all living things? These are the questions that Joan Oró tried to answer from a very young age.
