Synopsis
The Svalbard, a Norwegian archipelago in the far reaches of the Arctic Circle islands are the domain of the terrible polar bear. With the arrival of spring the bears leave their dens accompanied by the young who are born during the winter. This documentary shows us how the mother feeds her cubs , rieso protects them from being killed by bears adults of their own species and trained in hunting seals. It also reveals the harsh living conditions of other animals such as reindeer and arctic fox .
