- Synopsis
- Freely inspired by Lewis Carroll's “Alice in Wonderland” and Paulo Freire's “Pedagogy of the Oppressed”. Alice dos Anjos is a black girl who lives in the northeastern hinterland, and who, after running after a hurried black goat wearing a suit and tie in the back of her grandmother's backyard, is transported to a magical place, full of crazy characters who are become your new friends. She will then join them in the fight against an influential colonel who, in the name of blind progress centered on power, wants to dispossess the lands of traditional communities in order to build a hydroelectric plant. As Alice joins her friends to fight oppression, she will find herself on a journey of self-knowledge and social awareness.
