Synopsis

After eight centuries of struggle, in 1492, the Catholic Monarchs achieved the unification of most of the peninsular kingdoms and embarked on the most ambitious adventure in history: the discovery of the New World, its evangelization and the projection of European culture beyond the ocean. For three centuries, Spain will dominate a vast territory stretching from British Columbia to Tierra del Fuego, where a more prosperous society will emerge than the one existing in Europe itself.
