Synopsis: My grandfather José Caldas was a socialist trade unionist and councilman. He was shot in Vigo on May 12, 1937, during the Spanish Civil War. My voice-over, family pictures and documentary photographs by Pacheco Photo Studio are intertwined in this story of lose and violence. Past and present, family narrative and collective history, transgenerational memory and social story go through a film that demands justice and in which the feminist gaze is persistent.
