- Ryutaro Otomo, best known for his role in the renowned TANGE SAZEN series, stars as the skillful detective, Umon, in this popular jidaigeki series "Umon Torimonocho". Handsome and clever detective Kondo Umon is on a mission to solve the mysterious murder of five people who were hanged and killed with bowstrings. Lots of exciting Samurai action, mixed with humour and romance in one of the most entertaining films in the series. The mystery deepens as to the identity of 'One Eyed Wolf', a vicious killer who has both the North and South Magistrate's Offices racing to beat the clock in order to save the Shogun.
