- Synopsis
- The Belgian photographer Isabelle Detournay meets homeless people in Bucharest, takes photos of them in exchange for money, and finally becomes involved in the destinies of four women. Ilinca shows her around the North Station, Nicoleta works at the Subway where street dwellers come to warm up, Melinda comes from Hungary and seems most vulnerable, and Nella turns out to have spent many years of her life in jail. While we witness a complex friendship growing, we get increasingly immersed in a social universe despite the language barrier, and the drugs and trauma.
