- Synopsis
- The documentary deals with the condition of working women in Italian society of the sixties, through the emblematic story of three women taken during three different days: a Saturday, a Sunday, a Monday, in Milan. Factory work, trade union activity, work at home: so spend the days for women who work without breaks, without stopping, without its own time; On Sundays spent in the recovery of things not done at home, the accumulated and deferred needs. In these years, only twenty percent of women working in productive activities: paid less, they are often exploited and fired. Right between working women, especially among the younger, growing awareness of their rights and the awareness of the fight to lead to change society, economic relations, the mentality of men, the habits and conservative traditions that weigh on all women
