- Synopsis
- An unorthodox love story set in Edwardian England, "Love Among The Ruins" features Katharine Hepburn and Sir Laurence Olivier in their only film collaboration. A wealthy, headstrong widow and aging grande dame of the London stage (Hepburn) is accused of seducing and abandoning a young man. As the jilted gigolo sues her for breach of promise, she turns to the greatest barrister in Britain (Olivier) to defend her. The barrister turns out to be a lost love who is still crazy for her. Won 6 Emmy awards.
