- Synopsis
- Documentary in which actor José Sacristán recalls his life and work. Sitting on the stage of the Teatro Lope de Vega in Chinchón, the Madrid town where he was born on September 27, 1937, the artist looks back to tell viewers how he was forged into the person and performer he is today. From Sacristán's hand, we relive the costumbrist comedies of the Franco regime, disparagingly called "españoladas"; the so-called "third way", promoted in the early seventies by producer José Luis Dibildos; the cinema of the Transition with titles like "Un hombre llamado Flor de Otoño", "Asignatura pendiente" and "Solos en la madrugada", or the eighties, with hits like "La colmena" and "El viaje a ninguna parte". Far from thinking about retirement or a golden retirement, José Sacristán faces the future with an agenda full of projects. He is coming from one of the sweetest periods of his career (Goya for Best Actor and Silver Shell at San Sebastian) and the Malaga Festival 2014 paid tribute to him for his entire career.
