Conocemos a Evan Treborn, un niño que sufre particulares pérdidas de memoria. Años más tarde, descubre que mediante la lectura de los diarios que escribió en esa época que puede regresar al momento y cambiar lo ocurrido, utilizando de este modo la manera de hacer que todos sus conocidos estén felices.
