Comenzó muy bien, con escenas salpimentadas de un humor original, sobre ligues y como seducir utilizando claves que según Hitch, siempre funcionan.
Y en efecto, la película funciona a intervalos durante el primer tercio, alargando media docena de gags que se repiten al utilizar el mismo esquema de manera reiterativa.
El final es tan complaciente y poco original como una hamburguesa del "Burriking"
