Una pelicula muy interesante y bien hecha una espléndida realización por parte del director y por parte de los actores, un film bellísimo y muy poético , una fabulosa adaptación de el libro de Thomas Hardy , obra maestra , una lástima que Polanski no ganase el oscar al mejor director y que este fuese a parar a manos de Robert Reford cuyo film Gente Corriente es bastante soso .
