Gran película de Kubrick sobre el género bélico.
Tiene todo para ser una película muy buena:
-Buena fotografía
-Buenas intrepretaciones (especialmente la del sargento Hartman)
-Buena banda sonora
-Buen vestuario

La película es entretenida y no se hace pesada en ningún momento, además hay escenas orcurrentes con buenos diálogos.
