Acabo de ver "Carretera perdida". Ahora mismo. Ya. La tengo fresca como un manojo de hierba en primavera, o como un pan salido del horno, que quizás está demasiado caliente como para asimilarlo y tragarlo (sí, eso es, esta es la metáfora).
Pues bien, me debatía entre redactar o no una crítica, que no crítica, sino devanarme los sesos con un tenedor y compartirlo con los usuarios de filmaffinity ahora que he tenido un momento para pedir de nuevo mi olvidada contraseña.

Quiero advertir que me limitaré a rescatar imágenes que me parecen claves para que se entienda la película.
Lo que tengo claro es que ese personaje (que creo que Frank Miller lo copió para su Sin City, el bilioso eunuco) está en la cabeza del protagonista. Lo ve en la fiesta, llama a su casa, dice estar en ella y que FUE INVITADO a entrar. Esa frase me sorprendió. Es un ser inventado por el protagonista, fruto de su propia locura.
Además, cuando está tocando el saxo, al principio de todo, otra imagen: aparece la chica morena con ese Andy, y se va con él por la salida. Y el pobre sigue tocando el saxo, preocupado. Esto será un indicio de que él sospechaba de ella.
La chica rubia (al final en la foto, se ve claramente de que no existe) es la misma morena, pero seguramente, como en el mundo del porno, sea un personaje que interpretó la morena dentro de ese mundillo. De hecho, en las pelis que se ven la chica está rubia.
Queda claro que el protagonista está perturbado, que recuerda las cosas como quiere y desde el principio vemos la carretera. Esto también es crucial. La carretera se ve al final, como círculo cerrado. En el momento en que le damos al PLAY ya está siendo perseguido por la policía por todos esos homicidios de los que se le acusa (Andy, el hombre mayor, la chica...).
Lo que no me queda claro del todo es el personaje de Pete. Parece que vive un calco de la vida del protagonista (más o menos), pero se me escapa.
