César, an attractive young man who has inherited a large fortune from his parents, lives in a splendid house where he organizes luxurious parties. When one night he meets Sofia and falls in love with her, Nuria, his former lover, dies of jealousy. The next day, driving with César, Nuria tries to commit suicide by causing an accident. When César wakes up in the hospital he discovers that his face has been horribly disfigured.

Recuerdo acudir al cine a ver mi primera película de Amenábar. Reconozco que no había visto "Tesis" porque ya el director me daba un poco de repelús, y lo que me habían contado de su debut me sonaba a puro oportunismo y morbo.
Ahí estaba yo en los Minicines de Oviedo, en la sala grande. Comienza la película y compruebo que la peli parece tener bastante presupuesto y estar bien hecha.
