Un pueblo que de sus defectos hace su bandera, Lee Marvin cantando una de las baladas mas populares de la historia del cine, Clint Eastwood interpretando con total credibilidad un pacífico buen muchacho; numeros musicales de excelentísima factura, cuestiones de moralidad -para su época, escandalosas- tratadas con total normalidad y una apoteosis final con muchisima mala baba....Señores, estamos ante una pelicula inolvidable y maravillosa.
