Comedy
Kika, a young cosmetologist, is called to the mansion of Nicolas, an American writer to make-up the corpse of his stepson, Ramon. Ramon, who is not dead, is revived by Kika's attentions and she then moves in with him. They might live happily ever after but first they have to cope with Kika's affair with Nicolas, the suspicious death of Ramon's mother and the intrusive gaze of tabloid-TV star and Ramon's ex-psychologist Andrea Scarface.

Esta técnica artística aparece prácticamente en todas las escenas, ya sea con cuadros colgados en las paredes del fondo o creando un collage con la propia presencia de los personajes superpuestos sobre la imagen.
De hecho uno de los personajes principales es un fotógrafo especializado en el COLLAGE.
Sencillamente magistral para Almodóvar, sin embargo tremendamente complejo para la crítica y el espectador.
Ya decía Almodóvar que él no busca espectadores con prejuicios, difícilmente ni siquiera podrán aguantar una de sus películas, si no se libran totalmente de ellos.
