Irrepetible "cult-movie" del terror ochentero, convertido ya en clásico, y origen de una saga y un personaje míticos para toda una generación de adolescentes (o no tanto).
Con sencillez, sin pretensiones, y con el apoyo de un original guión y una brillante puesta en escena, Wes Craven diseña con mano maestra un diabólico personaje y una entretenida historia que hacen removerse en su asiento al espectador durante hora y media de (mal)sana y fantástica diversión.

three four you better lock your door,
five six grab your crucifix,
seven eight better stay awake,
nine ten never sleep again..."
