Sencilla, humana y tierna. Narra una época todavía muy reciente de la historia española, la guerra civil, con realismo pero sin amargura.
No la conocía, y me ha sorprendido su belleza y ternura. La actuación de los niños (Clara Lago y Juan José Ballesta) me ha parecido magnífica, y no es frecuente encontrar películas con buenos "actores menudos".
