Esta serie tiene la estructura y drama de tu telenovela venezolana promedio, así como su alcance temático (ver a una familia haciendo cosas que a nadie tiene por qué importarle).
Está bien narrada, cuenta con actuaciones excepcionales, y trae temas inusuales (la brutalidad del parto y la maternidad, por ejemplo). Es suficiente para elevarla por encima de la mediocridad, pero nada más.
