Pero sólo en los Oscars, donde ese año arrasó injustamente "Titanic". Debió haberlo hecho esta magistral crónica de cine negro que destapa escándalos de prostitución de lujo y corrupción policial en un ámbito tan pintoresco como el Hollywood de los años 40.
