The film takes place in Alexandria, Virginia in 1971, at a recently desegregated high school known as T.C. Williams. Herman Boone (Denzel Washington) is hired as Assistant Head coach for the school's football team, working under Head Coach Bill Yoast (Will Patton). Denzel Washington es un gran actor pero ésta película me defraudó un montón, quiere tocar el tema de los afroamericanos y puede que a ellos les haga ilusión pero a mi me pareció muy poca cosa, una película menor, muy aburrida y sosa.
