La película de Sautet es demoledora. No deja títere con cabeza. No sólo la Inocencia (esos vitelloni que sobreviven gracias a pequeños e inofensivos delitos) sino también la Inteligencia (Piccoli) y el Amor (Schneider), forman parte de esa misma chatarra, a la que algunos llamamos Vida.
