Excelente film inglés, muy bien interpretado y dirigido, con exquisito sabor británico.
Una adaptación de la novela, sabia y sencilla, sin duda tras un esforzado trabajo de guión, deja al descubierto una profunda historia de amor paterno-filial, y de amistad con un tercero con el que no logra congeniar el padre del muchacho.
Gusta mucho y se sigue con notable y creciente interés.
