Synopsis

June 11th 1967. Two Egyptian soldiers (an actor and a peasant in civilian life) stranded in the Sinai Desert during the final hours of the Six Day War. The two decide to make a private retreat back across the Suez Canal. On the way they have a string of surrealistic encounters – a dead U.N. soldier, an English TV crew, a group of confused Israeli soldiers, and lots of alcohol...
